Huge win to take the series from the Cubs. Need to finish this week off strong while at home. Would be nice to head into the all star break with a record right at 500. On a side note, Luis Castillo is the Reds lone representative for the ASG. Thought Garrett might get a spot, Castillo pitched awesome early, well deserved.

Through 7-3-19 the Reds are 39-44 with a .470 winning percentage. They are 5 1/2 games back of first place Brewers. The Reds are 4-6 in their last ten games and are 38-36 since the disastrous start of the season. Cincy is 13th out of the 15 NL teams in batting average at .235 but are second in team pitching ERA at 3.74.
