I used to like the Browns but I like the Bengals now. The Browns can't pick a good quarterback but the Bengals picked the best and he is from Athens County so even better.

I predict that the suspension will be no more than 8 games, maybe less.

People can accuse of anything, question is, what can they prove? I think that Watson didn't behave as he should have, but, did these gals take his money for services rendered? I don't believe them all.
Why would a guy with all of that money seek sex from a massage therapist when he could get as many high priced call girls that he wanted? Makes no sense to me.
I don't agree with either method, but, just sayin"

I can’t make sense of any of this from any point of view.

Not much news from training camp, other that a couple small injuries to Ward and Swartz.
Still waiting on Watson decision, maybe today?

Speaking of Mayfield, I got to see him in action at the Panthers training camp yesterday. I know practice is a controlled environment, yet Baker did look good.

Sometimes a change in scenery will do a player good. Maybe Watson will be helped if/when he gets to play.

I don't think that Watson is blameless in all of this, but to set aside a decision by an arbitrator that they themselves agreed to use, is just a complete travesty by the NFL. What about Robert Kraft? Daniel Snyder? I hope that Watson and the NFLPA sue the pants of the NFL.

Copied and pasted comment from another fan;

Sorry to say, but Roger Goodell and the NFL are hypocrites to the max. Not condoning Watson's actions but is it that much different than what multiple team owners have done? The league promotes trash halftime shows and gambling, looks the other way when they can get away with it, and now can't abide by an agreement they negotiated. Put this to rest and move on. That or clean out your own closets.

Didn't the NFL suspend an X-Ohio State QB for five games for getting free tattoos while in college? And this guy gets 6 for what he did???????????????

NFL planning on setting a "precedent" in the Watson case. The lack of "precedent" is why arbitrator only gave six games. I think if she would have given the six games plus a large fine, the league would have accepted that. They got their butts hurt when the Browns structured his contract low this year with expectations of a suspension. The bottom line is that the NFL is all about the money, nothing else.

Seems like all pro sports are that way.

Watson will be out more than 6 games when it's all said and done. Goodell is on the warpath!

Now Colin Kaepernick is in the mix? That has to be right up there with the Brownsiest thing the Browns have ever done if true. Galliagrad will love this. :lol:
