One thing is James had one hand secure on the ball at all times. Where Bryant in the playoffs before changed hands and kept control while flipping over. This case James had one hand come off when he hit the ground. James is a big guy who probably can palm the football with 1 hand easily. I thought he controlled the ball with his right hand.

This catch rule needs to be changed anyway.

Eli Rogers comes out saying that Pittsburg will win the next time they play the Pats. Which coming from a player who doesn't make many plays on the field himself. Just play the game instead of insert excuse here.
One of the Best things about the Pats they do not run their mouths to the press.

His left hand definitely lost control when he hit the ground causing it to move a little which would make it the right call with the rules they got, but like I said I hate that catch follow through all the way to the ground rule they conjured up a few years ago.

I was dumbfounded. Why didn't Ben spike the ball? Kick a field goal, go to OT at home. Bet Belichick and Brady would've done that!

Apples and oranges. The Browns are totally dysfunctional. The Steelers are competing for Super Bowls. Not any more in the near future if they call plays like that in the clutch. They should know better. And I'm still trying to dry out!

If not open Ben should have thrown it in the ground toward Rogers. Then kicked the FG. The call anyway gets tough for the QB to function and make the right decision while hearing the coach in his helmet.

I still feel the ball was in control at the time of crossing the plane of the goal line. I thought it was a td. but certainly see how it could be doubted as well or overturned. wacky set of circumstances, considering the ball never touched the ground. seems like it could have been called either way and had a legit argument.

Biggest problem I have is after the catch was nullified the Steelers should have played the percentages. Either spike or throw ball away. Steelers, you lost this game

That Texans team is just a disappointment. Yes losing some great defensive players. What was left should have played much better. The QB's get blamed even though the poor line has them running around and getting up after being hit to much. Some think O'Brien has lost control of the team or it is time for a change. Mike Vrabel is highly thought of by the Texans and other teams are interested. Since 10+ coaches can be fired.

The Steelers can be of the playoffs if the weather gets bad like that game in Buffalo a few weeks ago with all that snow. That kind of take Brown out of the game some when he comes back. Releasing Harrison not sure how that effects the locker room and interactions with coaches. Just have to wait and see.
