here's my take on USA basketball...GOLD OR BUST!!!

think about it. the NBA is the best basketball league in the world. the NBA is vastly dominated by Americans. it would be pathetic if we cant construct a team better than these other countries. before some of the big names wouldnt play, but that's not the case this year. these other teams may have one or two guys from the NBA carry their team whereas our team is made up entirely of NBA superstars. if they dont bring home the gold, there is something seriously wrong.

well said brutus....all the basketball anaylsts are making the teams that the u.s. is playin better then they really are when no one in the olympics can stop players like dwade kobe lebron melo and co. and they will probably not be challenged for an entire game the rest of the way

no im not....heck i didnt even know doug collins was on an olympic team until he started talking about it but was he any good in the nba im not old enough to remember

His team did not win the gold medal so I guess he wasn't all that great. I personally would rather he commentate the games at hand and stop talking about his past. I'm just not that interested or I'd read a history book.
