Kimbo is a joke in MMA. Thompson had him on the ground defenseless for over a minute and the fight was not stopped. In the UFC that gets stopped very quickly, plus it did look like he tapped when he got caught in the choke. To echo Hammerdown Ken needs to take this fight to the ground. He cant win a stand up fight with Kimbo. I like Ken, but he needs to retire e is was past retirement. He is just hurting his legacy for a payday by fighting Kimbo.

Slice is a joke and those in charge of him know this.
He goes up against another fighter who is so far past his prime he can't even remember it.

This means nothing if Slice wins.

As for Ken needing to take this fight to the ground, I disagree. I think Ken can hang with Kimbo on his feet if they are in a tie-up or a clinch. Ken has lethal knees. I remember Ken fighting a much larger and stronger Kimo and Ken KO'd Kimo with a knee to the face. And Kimo was much more experienced than Kimbo. If Ken can set it up, he can do the same to Slice.

All Kimbo is is a newer version of Tank Abbott, and we all know how Tank has done in MMA.

But thats when Ken was younger and a much better fighter. The man is a shell of his former self.

If you read anything from Bas Rutten, who is Kimbo's trainer...he will tell you that they are sort of protecting him right now. They know that he is not totally ready for the main eventers. However, Kimbo has name recognition and so does Shamrock. EliteXC knows that they will get people to watch simply because of the name value. The casual viewers will tune in because they have heard of these guys before.

I know a lot of people rag on Kimbo, but personally I am a Kimbo fan. No, he is not a great fighter yet. He came with all the hype, but give the guy credit, he did what he had to do to get from nothing to now at least having something.

Kimbo via second round submission......just feel like going against the grain alittle and predicting a submission
