I don't see where anybody compared him to Pete Rose. He's not Pete Rose, different style of hitter, play, personality, position everything. He's consistently been one of the best players and hitters in baseball for nearly 10 years, we are 10 games into the season, it's not a big deal.bighead wrote:Why does people want to sugar coat things ! I can't believe bighead hasn't been on here saying how bad the Reds are lol. But, on a real note, even though they lost two out of three to the O's, there was a lot of positive that came from that series. Despite the outburst in game one, the offense wasn't real existent, but the Reds pitching staff was dynamite! Only giving up 7 runs in a 3 game series to one of the highest scoring offenses in MLB.
