Trading away Kyrie Irving, but picking up Isaiah Thomas (who won't play until probably January), Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, a 1st Rd pick and a 2nd Rd pick in the trade. Also signing Dwayne Wade to a 1 year contract.

What are your thoughts on this years Cavs?

I really like what the Cavs have done with the roster for the upcoming season. Even though you lose Kyrie, you add another all-star point guard, bring a lock down defensive 2/3 guy, and bring in some other veterans like Jose Calderon, Jeff Green, Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade. Here's how I see the depth chart, of people who will actually see legit minutes.

PG: Rose (Starter); Calderon (Solid minutes); Thomas (Starter and most of the minutes once he's healthy)
SG: Wade (Starter); Smith (Solid minutes/volume shooter); Korver (Comes in when a bucket is needed); Shumpert (Plays more when defense is needed)
SF: James (Starter); Crowder (Solid minutes, could play 2 or 3); Jefferson (Will see minutes here and there)
PF: Love (Starter); Green (Will play some good minutes, good 2-way player); Frye (Could see some minutes here and there)
C: Thompson (Starter); Tavares (Might see some minutes); Zizic (Might see some minutes)

The Cavs are in an interesting situation, will be there be too much ego on this team? Lots of veterans, and players who have started on other teams. Are there enough minutes to go around for everyone?

It all comes down to the health of Rose, Wade and Thomas. If they stay healthy and Thomas can come back like he was, Cavs could be very good and won't miss Irving. God forbid something would happen to James. He has been very durable and injury free, as a big Cavs fan I hope that continues!

Unlike the NFL the players have to stand in the NBA for the anthem or they get suspended. Back in 1996 a player got suspended for not standing. Wish the NFL had the balls to do this!

Cavs win the opener against the Celtics. Heartbreaker for the Celtics though, as Gordon Hayward suffers a fractured leg just minutes into the game.

Kind of disappointed the Cavs let them back in the game after leading by 18 but a win is a win. Feel sorry for Hayward
