They can hire all of the coaches they want........ownership is not going to spend any money on good players until people stop buying tickets.

Reds are 7-23. If they keep the pace, 124 losses for the season is within their grasp..

Yeah, they traded Mesoraco for Harvey. I really liked Mesoraco, but with all the injuries he's had the last 2+ years, it was time for them to fully commit to Barnhart, which they have done. Harvey could help the Reds, if he even remotely gets back to what he was a few years ago.

Good trade. They traded a backup catcher for a guy who could be a top starter if he gets things right. Good move on both sides.

Good win in LA tonight. I understand that we are bad, but don't get why everyone is making the Reds the laughing stock of the league. They have more wins than both the Orioles and White Sox.

Put together another nice win at Dodger Stadium. Impressed with Harvey's Reds' debut, although he only went 4 innings, only gave up one hit.

Yeah and that hit was a gift hit. I think if Hamilton would of heard Schebler saying he lost it he would have caught it.
Harvey was very impressive and I think they should have let him go 5 innings to get the win. That would have been a huge confidence builder on top of the great start. I think he just wanted out of NY and will do well in Cincy.
Reds are hitting well right now and the pitching is getting better. Of course everyone of the teams in the Central or are some kind of winning streak right now.
