Votto, Gennett and Suarez are all in the top five at their position in all-star voting. But, Scooter is the only one within striking distance of getting a starting position.

The Reds have made several trades over the past week:

7/2 - Traded minor league catcher Joe Hudson to the Angels for cash.

7/4 - Traded RHP Dylan Floro and Zach Neal (minors) and an international signing bonus pool space to the Dodgers for good minor league RHP prospects James Marinan and Anerurys Zabala.

Did you happen to see how big the bonus pool money was? Because the prospects feel like a lot to give up for Neal and Floro, especially since Floro had pretty much been anyone’s to get the last couple of years. Good trade by the Reds.

Floro wasn't much the last couple years, but he's been very good this year. Also, I couldn't find how much that bonus pool money was.

I really enjoy watching the Reds improve. It will be interesting to see what they do with Harvey and Iglesias at the trade deadline.

Same here! I think they can get a couple mid-level prospects for Harvey, he's really improved since joining the Reds. I'm not sure if they'll trade Igelsias or not. He's still young, and I think the Reds are a year or two away.

I could also see them dishing out Jared Hughes. I heard something about them shopping Hamilton around again, so who knows.

What a comeback! Down 4-0 going into the 9th, come back and score 7 in the 9th to win 7-4.

What an amazing game that was with storylines galore! Trevor Bauer was absolutely killing the Reds after 8 innings with a comfortable 4-0 lead going to the 9th, then comes the Tribe bullpen which has been a sore spot all year for the Indians. The Tribe had them down to the last strike two different times but the Reds manage to get 7 runs to win going away. Francona said in his postgame press conference when he went out to get Cody Allen out of the game with Votto coming up he told pitching coach Carl Willis he wanted OP meaning left hander Oliver Perez, instead Willis thought he said OT meaning right hander Dan Otero lol. Imagine the horror Francona was thinking with the right hander coming through the gate to face the left handed superstar Votto with the bases loaded :o . This was a game for the ages!
