You'll also be ecstatic about this, I heard the other day that the Reds could get rid of Price as early as June. John Ferrell (who they just hired in spring training) or Barry Larkin would be the favorites.

The Reds fired Price at 9 this morning. In addition, pitching coach Mack Jenkins has also been fired.

Bench coach Jim Riggelman has been named the interim manager. AAA Manager Pat Kelly has been named the bench coach. AA pitching coach has been named major league pitching coach.

true that!!! but man I was ever on top of the sports world when I was young boy......even though crushed by "the drive" and "the fumble" I was sure I would see my Brownies there again.....my redlegs won the world series not long after......and I was king of the playground supporting my beloved teams......but since the conclusion of the 1995 football season boy has my professional sports teams been in the dumps....and I mean in the dumps......however, I am a true fan and regardless win lose or draw I am still with em..........gotten pretty used to saying the lose part last 20+years but will it ever make it so much more special IF and I emphasis IF they ever get back there again.........thank goodness for the buckeyes
