Tribe sweeps Reds. Reds have runners on base all night and can't do nothing with it. Reds on a 4 game skid

Reds couldn't do anything with runners in scoring position. That 9th inning was a little disappointing. Suarez has been showing his defense off lately (even tonight) but on a sour note, he had FIVE strikeouts tonight.

That was a pretty dominant sweep!

2-1
7-1
11-4

That first game was the only real close one, Ervin brought that one home. I've been pretty impressed with him.

Yeah, the old left hander, Hamilton Joe Nuxhall. The Reds are rounding third and headed for the basement once again. The Reds magic number to clinch last place in the NL Central Division is 2.

Bell from baseball (Gus and Buddy) family with deep Cincinnati roots. Might appease the fans some but I doubt any improvement will be made by the Reds on the field.
You could resurrect Fred Hutchison and Sparky Anderson as managers, but until the current front office is sacked, the Reds are doomed to 90+ loss seasons for the foreseeable future.

I used to be a BIG Reds fan. Man for the old days. Rose, Perez, Bench, Morgan, Geronimo, Concepcion, Gullet. Now I'm forced to be a Red Sox fan. Can't stand the Yankees and Dodgers

Among NL first basemen, he's tied for 3rd in fielding percentage, 2nd in assists and his defensive range factor is 3rd. Also top ten in all other defensive statistics among first basemen. He's a finalist nearly every year.

Billy Hamilton is also a finalist in center field yet again. Hopefully Hamilton actually wins it this year. He's been deserving of it for awhile.

Reds name Derek Johnson pitching coach.

They also claimed relief pitcher Matt Bowman off waivers from the Cardinals.

Reds name Turner Ward their hitting coach.

Those are two incredibly outstanding signings for their pitching coach and hitting coach to add to Manager David Bell's staff!!

The Red's problems run deeper than what a new manager or assistants can fix. The front office and ownership need replacement too.
