DEC. 9TH 4:05 PM BENGALS AT CHARGERS

Post by YOU'RE TIGER BAIT »

AFTER CRASHING OUT OF THE GATES THE BENGALS CAME OUT ROARING TO A CAPTIVATING 4-1 START. NOW THE BENGALS ARE FLOUNDERING AROUND LIKE A 100 POUND HALIBUT ON A BOAT DOCK RIGHT NOW AND HAVE PLUNGED TO 5-7. THEY LOOK VERY UNMOTIVATED RIGHT NOW. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN SHOW THEM HERE YESTERDAY. ME AND MRS. BAIT HAD TO WATCH NETFLIX ALL DAY. SO ARE WE PLAYING NOW FOR DRAFT PICKS AGAIN OR ARE WE STILL PLAYING FOR SOME RESPECT AFTER A 24-10 LOSS TO THE BRONCOS.

The only way the Bengals win is if the Chargers have a terrible game as they came off a big win at the Steelers. As a complete team win. Even though they have injuries to key players. Bengals defense does not live upover w to the talent on the defensive line. Even with Marv taking over with his buddy HUE coming in to help. Well help put the HELP WANTED sign up. Chargers with Bosa back could add more excitement.
Bengals having unforced penalties. Giving away chances to be in position to win. With a QB who made his first start. Not giving him extra help doesn't help him to have a chance to win the game.

Now AJ Green is out for the season.
Mike Brown is being asked about Marv after Green Bay gets rid of their coach. Marv says it is his job to coach and not worry about other things. Mike Brown is not happy with low attendance and losing fans. With many not coming back to Marv is gone. Marv was given no assurances that he will finish the season or would ask for it. So with this coming out is not good for Marv. IF the Chargers blow out the Bengals this could be his last game,

With Marv hanging around the last few years it will anger fans if he moves up to management. More stories coming out about Marv leaving after the season. That is a story we have heard before.

Time for the great quote during the Christmas season. From the movie Christmas Vacation ,"$hitters Full"

Bengals played well but some bad 4th down plays did not help. The Chargers were playing good and at home. Driscoll showed some good skills. Has a live arm. The offensive line shows up to make bad plays or penalties at the worst moments. The refs enough said.

I thought they looked very competitive myself as well. esp. with all the key injuries. the touchdown that got called off was a farce. that was a td by driskoll. and the 4th and one play on the goal line reminded me of a play coop's buckeyes did many moons back. you have 4th and 1 and do a sweep. oh well, playin for draft picks now.

They looked better with more excitement. The Chargers are a very good team. But still makes to many mistakes. Will have to see what they do next week.

The Chargers beat the Cheifs on the road last night. The Chargers are showing to be a well rounded with depth. This is where the Bengals were just a few years ago. The Bengals then let players go while keeping Pac MAn and Burfect. Sure some of the players left so not to deal with them and the way Marv does things. Losing Gruden and Zimmer as coaches helped to make the players leaving decision also. The Chargers are playing as a team with excitement as well as confidence. Even with key players out. With Bosa back playing just adds to the already good defense.

The Bengals did play very well. A better coach should have got the Bengals the win. That is Marv being a good coach to only getting the team so far. Not over the hump to be one of the best teams in the NFL for an extended time.
