Still won't be a playoff team, but should be a much improved version of the Redlegs on the diamond.

I think pitcher Alex Wood is the only former Dodger from the trade that will see significant playing time for the Reds.
Kemp and Puig might be the perfect trade bait to acquire more pitching.

Kemp and Puig will have a monster year for the Reds, if they can get pitching with a lineup that will have Scooter, Suarez, Kemp, Puig, and Votto this team could be dangerous

Puige and kemp will be gone at the trade deadline or in 2019 off season.they won’t pay them enough to keep them.some of you fail to realize that both only have a year on their current contracts.

The trade appears that it will go through, but nothing has been finalized as of yet. The deal would send Sonny Gray to the Reds, and the Yankees would get second base prospect Shed Long and a draft pick.

If this goes through, it's hard not to be excited about the 2019 version of the Reds.

My worry is Gray didn't fare well in the band box that is Yankee stadium. Hopefully he doesn't have the same issues at GABP. He was good in Oakland, and away from Yankee Stadium.

Reds still need a #1.
