The Bobcats (14-7) earned quite possibly their biggest win of the season in Athens, as they not only got revenge for an earlier season loss, but beat Akron (19-4), 85-70. OU was led by a massive performance by Jaaron Simmons' double-double of 38 points and 10 rebounds. The Zips were led by Isaiah Johnson with 18 points.

Next up for the Bobcats will be when they host Central Michigan on Tuesday and try to build on the momentum from today.

Ohio (14-8) got into a shootout tonight with Central Michigan (16-8), and that wasn't good news for the Bobcats, as they lost at home, 97-87. Leading the Bobcats with a 2nd consecutive 30+ point performance was Jaaron Simmons who put in 30 points, and also to go along with 9 rebounds and 9 assists nearly recording a triple-double. Leading the Chippewas was Marcus Keene with a massive 41 point performance, he is also the nation's leading scorer at 30.2 PPG.

OU will next head to Ball State on Friday.

Mark Titus mentioned that Keene didn't take a textbook example of a good shot the entire game...but it was also the best scoring display he ever saw. Dude is super fun to watch
