Valenth's Top 10 CFB Poll 11/29/15

Post by Valenth »

Well we have another shakeup on our hands... As well as some close calls... Here is my Top 10.

1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3. Clemson
4. Michigan State
5. Iowa
6. Ohio State
7. Stanford
8. FSU
9. Notre Dame
10. Baylor

*3 Teams really impressed this week in the "Eye Test": Oklahoma, Michigan State and Ohio State.
*Oklahoma destroyed OK State in Bedlam. And they played better than anyone in the Top 4. IMO they are the best team right now.
*Clemson fell after barely beating a 3 win team. (ND was punished the same way against BC. CFP Committee should Follow suit.)
*Ohio State jumps up in a pounding of their rival Michigan.
*Michigan State jumps Iowa in their Trouncing of Penn State.
*Notre Dame and Baylor falls 3 spots after close calls.
*FSU Jumps into the Top 10 after exposing an Overrated Florida.

This now makes Ohio State stat-wise the best One Loss team in CFB.

Thanks for your hard work Valenth, One through five's order not real important at this time as there will be one automatic loser. TOSU
at sixth gives them a mathematical shot if one more of the top 5 falters. I think the committee though will position UNC somewhere 7th to 9th so if they beat Clemson, it will be a little easier for them to put the Tar Heels into the final four. I believe TOSU can reach no higher than fifth due to that pesky lack of a conference championship and lack of a 13th game to build resume.

I know how u feel about undefeated teams Bait.

The committee might jump Michigan State over Iowa because how good Michigan State played and how close Iowa won their game by...

HOWEVER... Iowa could stay 4th after beating the team (Nebraska) That gave Michigan State their Only loss.

Regardless it wont matter, Whoever wins that Conference Championship Game is IN :D

I see UNC is now 8th in both AP and Coaches poll. They have been placed into position to move up if they defeat Clemson.

I really dont think UNC is worthy of top 10...They still havent played anyone Good. The true tale of the tape will be where the committee places them.

You do realize UNC has played NOBODY... Zero Top 25 teams, and TWO FCS Schools.

I do but you also realize that besides notre dame. Stanford has lost to the 2 best teams they have played IMO with oregon and northwestern. They can't win against the bigs. i mean really the colorado the washington teams and arizona them are nothing to brag about

1. Oklahoma
2. Clemson
3. Alabama
4. Iowa
5. Michigan State
6. Ohio State
7. North Carolina
8. Stanford
9. Florida State
10. Notre Dame

This is my top ten, very similar to everyone else's. I think the top 10 teams in the country with no doubt. The top ten have put themselves much above everyone else this year. Iowa has to be ahead of MSU. Simply because they are an undefeated power 5 conference school plus they beat the one team that beat MSU. I think Clemson is slightly overrated but they are undefeated and beat several good teams. But played a very bad SC team way too close. Oklahoma thrashed Ok State last week which is the reason for #1. Honestly, I think OSU really is a top 4 team, they proved it last week. But they plyed like crap the rest of the year especially against MSU, they waited too long I think. Wariner should've moved to the box earlier in the season.

At this point Oklahoma is a lock in the playoff. The remaining four must win and they are in.

Yeah I don't think there's a chance they'll leave the Big 12 out two years in a row

I dont see the committee putting in a 2 loss conference champion. Remember winning a Conference doesnt make it a Lock.

Stanford however lost to Northwestern.

Northwestern lost to Michigan 40-0.

We all know What Ohio State did to Michigan ;)

Nobody said anything about OSU getting screwed. We lost to MSU fair and square. It's a better loss than most teams though.

1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma (even though they have a terrible loss to Texas)
3. Alabama (even though they have a worse loss than OSU, to 3 loss Ole Miss)
4. Iowa (undefeated)
5. Mich. State
6. OHIO STATE (a lock for #5 after the Big Ten Championship game and just as deserving as Oklahoma or Alabama)

7-10 (PRIME EXAMPLE WHY WE DONT NEED AN 8 TEAM PLAYOFF)
Stanford, Florida State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State
