RIP Mississippi State HC Mike Leach

The University has announced this morning the passing of Head Coach Mike Leach at the age of 61 due to a heart condition. Mike Leach is a top name in the college football community and has contributed so much to this sport. One of the key inventors of the "Air Raid" offense. Prayers are out to his family and the University at this time. Rest In Peace, Coach.

Wow. Just saw this on social media. So sad.
You could tell that this coach loved his players but also said what he felt without filter. Some of the best post game interview soundbytes to ever come from a college football coach.

So shocking. Just goes to show that it doesnt matter what your job, fame, fortune......you can leave this world in a blink of an eye.

Prayers for the family. Interesting side note Minford's principal, Jeff Pica, played against Coach Leach when Jeff was at Delta State and Leach was the OC at Valdosta State in the early 90's.
