I know it's been beat to death but oh how easy it'd all be if they made it the final 8. 5 confrence champs, 3 at large, and everyone gets at least someone to root for

Outside of Bama I think Oklahoma is coming on strong. As far as my Irish they need to learn how to play 4 qtrs and they will be fine. There is a ton of football to play so its wide open as far as the playoffs go. While Iowa is undefeated they would be crushed playing Clemson at night in Death Valley.
Agree, LSU is tailor made for that bama D

Even in ,what I would consider somewhat of a down year in the SEC,Every team in the West and 2-3 teams in the East would beat Iowa.

Lol...osu is 2nd? Haha cant help but laugh because alabama beat a top 5 team and clemson beat a ranked florida state team. Then again, maybe osu does belong at two as long as it the Oklahoma state university

Last year Ohio won 49-37 against MSU. Wow. They had already been beaten by a poor Va Tech team earlier. Would have lost to PSU a week or 2 before MSU but the Officials kind of hosed Penn State at the end of the ballgame. Perception began to change. OSU is kicking butt and taking names. Then came the 31-24 domination of the Gophers in the snow. Then came the annialation of the Hoosiers, wwhen in fact IU had the lead towards the end of the 3rd qtr with no QB. And the RB runs for 200 plus. Then comes Michigan and the dogfight that was. With D Gardner at QB!!...Barry Alvaraz and Tom Osborne in the wings and the National media praising the merits of the Bucks and all the butts they have kicked... This is before Wisky!! What a political joke!!

Even after all that inspector and with a 3rd string QB, the selection committee chairman being from the SEC and giving precious Alabama the #1 seed (surprise surprise) they beat them down and then went out and crushed Oregon. Those are facts that can't be argued and a National Championship to prove it.

No matter how much the inspector whines and bickers about OSU getting into the playoff last year, they still won the whole thing. They spanked both teams they played in the playoff and there is no arguing that. Regardless of what they did in the regular season they did well enough to get in and once they were in, it was over.
