Turning the ball over, Wesson not playing smart and picking up too many fouls, and literally nobody can hit an outside shot right now.

The book is out on the Buckeyes. Make perimeter players beat you. Collapse on Wesson and get him on the bench.

In an extremely tough matchup for the Buckeyes last night, ended in a loss on the road to #5 Michigan, 65-49. OSU got out to an early 12-6 lead, but were unable to sustain after halftime, when the Wolverines just put their foot on the pedal. Kaleb Wesson led the Buckeyes with 12 points, and CJ Jackson chipped in 11.

Michigan's Jordan Poole led all scorers with 15 points.

Next up, Ohio State will have a re-match with Rutgers in Columbus on Saturday.

Rutger is playing good ball right now. Not good for the buckeyes who aren't playing good ball.

Hopefully that might be able to give them a little momentum heading to IU on Sunday. Haven't had any momentum in awhile.

Caught a few minutes of the game last night. A wins is a win. Get some confidents back in them. Big Ten tourney is just around the corner. Playing at Assembly Hall will be a tall task. should be a good game, Indy and o$u IMO are pretty evenly matched this year.

This was the game that likely killed their chances of the NCAA 64. Still a winning record though.

It's pretty safe to say at this point, the Buckeyes (16-9; 6-8) chances of making the NCAA Tournament as an at-large team are pretty much zero. They lost 62-44 at #11 Michigan State (21-5; 12-3) on Sunday. OSU actually led this game at halftime, 31-25, but the Spartans came out on a mission in the second half, outscoring the Buckeyes 37-13, effectively dominating them. The Buckeyes were led by Kaleb Wesson with 12 points.

Michigan State was led with 14 points from Matt McQuaid. And a 10 point and 10 rebound performance from Kenny Goins.

Next up, Ohio State will host Northwestern on Wednesday.

Although it seems unlikely the Buckeyes will make the tournament to us. Joe Lunardi has OSU as the #9 seed in yesterday's edition of Bracketology, even after their loss to Michigan State.

The Buckeyes (17-9; 7-8) got a bounce back win, 63-49 against visiting Northwestern (12-14; 3-12) on Wednesday night. Although it was a very close game at the half, in which OSU took a 24-20 lead, the Buckeyes used a 10 point advantage in the second half to take a 14 point home win. Kaleb Wesson had a solid all-around game with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks. Both Duane Washington Jr and Kyle Young tallied 8 points for OSU.

The Wildcats were led by a 10 point and 7 rebound performance from Vic Law.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to Maryland on Saturday.

OSU's opportunities to impress the NCAA Tournament committee are dwindling late in the season, as the Buckeyes (17-10; 7-9) fell on the road at #24 Maryland (21-7; 12-5) on Saturday, 72-62. The Terrapins were able to outscore the Buckeyes by 5 in both halves to give themselves a 10 point victory. Duane Washington Jr led the Buckeyes with 15 points, followed by 13 points from Andre Wesson and 10 points from Keyshawn Woods.

Maryland was led by a 19 point performance from Anthony Cowan.

The upcoming games to end the season are must-wins for Ohio State. Their next game is Tuesday when they host Iowa.

HUGE win tonight against Iowa. Everything seemed to go the Buckeyes way. Needed that win for sure, I think that gets them into the tournament. Justin Ahrens has 29 points...his 3 was on tonight. Great win, tough game on Saturday.
