The Buckeyes have split their first two games in their series against Nebraska in Columbus. Winning the first one on Friday, 9-7, then losing the second on Saturday, 3-1. They'll wrap up their series tomorrow at noon.

The final game of the Buckeyes series with Nebraska ended in an 11-9 loss. Jalen Washington led the Buckeyes driving in 3 runs and going 2-for-5. Brady Cherry and Bo Coolen each drove in 2 runs a piece. Taking the loss on the mound was Reece Calvert who only made it 1.2 innings allowing 5 runs (all earned) on 3 hits and 2 walks.

Next up for OSU is a two game (Tuesday-Wednesday) series as they host Texas Tech this week.

The Buckeyes Tuesday contest against Texas Tech was cancelled due to weather. As of right now, there matchup for Wednesday is still scheduled.

Last night in Columbus, the Buckeyes were just edged by the #4 team in the nation, Texas Tech, 5-3. Adam Niemeyer went 1.2 innings of relief for OSU and took the loss while giving up 1 run on 3 hits. Dominic Canzone produced most of the offense for Ohio State, driving in 2 runs, both times on singles. The other run came from a sac fly RBI by Shea Murray.

Next up is a 3 game series at rival and #17 Michigan this weekend, beginning on Friday.

The Buckeyes opened up their series at #17 Michigan by being shutout 6-0, although they did muster up 7 hits, it didn't add up to any offense. Dominic Canzone had a multi-hit game going 2-for-4. Starting pitcher Jake Post took the loss on the mound going 5.2 innings allowing 5 runs (all earned) on 6 hits and 3 walks, and striking out 5.

Their second game of the series is today at 2pm.

Although the Buckeyes got on the board in this one, they ultimately lost to #17 Michigan, 5-2 on Saturday in the second game of their series. The entire offense for OSU came from RBI base hits from Dominic Canzone and Andrew Fishel. The loss on the mound went to Connor Curlis who went 5 innings of 2 run, and 3 hit baseball.

Ohio State will look to avoid the sweep on Sunday as they wrap up their series at 4pm

In the series finale at #17 Michigan, the Buckeyes picked up a 4-2 win on Sunday. The entire OSU offense came from a Zach Ratcliff grand slam in the 6th inning. The winning pitcher was Seth Kinker who went 6 innings of 2 run, 4 hit baseball. Adam Niemeyer came in and recorded a 3 inning save for the Scarlet and White.

Two MAC opponents will visit Columbus this week, Bowling Green on Tuesday and Ball State on Wednesay.

It took 12 innings, but the Buckeyes capped off a late night by defeating Bowling Green in Columbus 7-6. Most of the offense came from Dominic Canzone with 3 RBI and the deciding walk-off single in the 12th. Kyle Michalik earned the win on the mound in relief going 1 inning of hitless baseball.

Next up is another midweek game against a MAC opponent tonight against Ball State.

The Buckeyes dropped the second of their two midweek non-conference games, this time to Ball State, 14-4. It was not a night OSU would like to remember as starting pitcher Jake Vance went 4.1 innings on the mound giving up 5 runs (4 earned). The majority of the Buckeyes offense came off of Shea Murray's two triples which drove in 3 runs.

This weekend, the Buckeyes travel to Iowa for a 3 game series which begins on Friday.

A high scoring affair capped game 2 of the series at Iowa, where they earned a 12-7 victory. The series wraps up tomorrow at 2:05pm.

The Buckeyes finished off their series at Iowa today, capping it off with an 11-10 loss. The Buckeyes will play their final non-conference regular season game on Tuesday when they host Toledo.

Ohio State got back in the win column on Tuesday night, as they hosted and defeated Toledo, 11-8. Shea Murray blasted a 2-run shot in the 4th and finished with 3 RBI. The other long ball came from Zach Ratcliff who launched a 3-run shot in the 6th inning. Austin Woodby pitched 3 innings of relief to pick up the win even while allowing 4 runs. Thomas Waning picked up the save closing out the final 1.2 innings.

The Buckeyes will play their final regular season games beginning this Thursday, and playing a 3 game set through Saturday as they host Indiana to close out the regular season.

Opening up their final series of the regular season in Columbus, the Buckeyes earned an important 7-4 victory over Indiana. Dominic Canzone drove in two, both being on RBI groundouts and Shea Murray drove in 2 runs as well on a double. Starting pitcher earned the win over the Hoosiers on the mound, pitching 7 innings of 2 run, 4 hit baseball while striking out 4. Seth Kinker came in to close it out for the save just needing to retire one batter.

Their middle game of the series will be today at 6:35pm.

Game 2 against Indiana ended in a loss last night to Indiana 8-4. Brady Cherry drove in 2 runs for the Buckeyes. Jake Post took the loss on the mound, although he just went 2.2 innings by allowing 7 runs (all earned) in the loss.

Today is the final game of the regular season.

The Buckeyes have concluded their regular season with a 4-3 loss to Indiana on Saturday. Jalen Washington drove in most of the offense for OSU with a 2-run home run in the 8th inning. Seth Kinker took the loss on the mound going 6.2 innings and allowing all 4 of the Hoosiers runs. The Buckeyes will now wait to see if they make the Big Ten Tournament.

OSU's season has now officially ended, as only the top 8 teams make the Big Ten tournament.
