The Bobcats opened up their season yesterday in Lexington, South Carolina with a dominant 10-2 thumping over La Salle. Michael Klein, the DH for OU went 3-3 and was walked one time, driving in 4 runs and scoring 2 himself. Gerry Salisbury picked up the win for OU on the mound, going 5 1/3 innings, giving up 4 hits, 2 runs (both earned), 2 walks, and 8 strikeouts.

Today, the Bobcats are still in Lexington, they will play La Salle at 11am and play Butler at 3pm.

The Bobcats wrapped up their weekend in Lexington, SC with a 3-1 record. Saturday saw OU dominating La Salle for the second time in as many days, this time 14-5. In the second game of the day, the Bobcats were on the wrong side of a 15-4 game against Butler. Sunday saw the Bobcats wrap up their weekend with a 4-0 shutout over Butler.

This Friday-Tuesday, the Bobcats will be in Emerson, GA where they will play SIU-Edwardsville 4 times and will play one game against Alabama State on Tuesday.

OU was edged out by SIU-Edwardsville tonight in their series opener in Emerson, Georgia, 2-1. They play a double header against SIU-Edwardsville tomorrow at 1 and 4.

The Bobcats had an up and down day against SIU Edwardsville today in Emerson, GA. They won their first game 6-4 and then lost their second game 7-4. They wrap up their series against SIU-Edwardsville on Sunday at 11am.

It took a long game, 13 innings to be exact, but the Bobcats were able to earn a win today over SIU-Edwardsville 2-1 to even up their series in the last game in Emerson, Georgia. OU has tomorrow off but still have one more game in Georgia as they face-off against Alabama State on Tuesday.

Trying to leave Emerson, Georgia and return to Athens with a winning record, the Bobcats were unable to do that, falling big time to Alabama State 12-6. Logan Jacik was tagged with the loss for OU, only going 0.2 innings, giving up 6 runs, all of them earned. The only player for the Bobcats with more than 1 hit was first baseman Rudy Rott who went 2-4 while driving in 2 runs.

The Bobcats travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky to face Western Kentucky in a 3 game set Friday-Sunday.

In the first game of a 3-game set at Western Kentucky tonight, the Bobcats dropped a 5-4 decision in a great game. OU plays their second game at Western Kentucky tomorrow at 2pm.

The Bobcats evened up the series at Western Kentucky today, shutting out the Hilltoppers, 3-0. Butch Baird tossed 6.2 innings for OU, striking out 2 while allowing only 4 hits and 2 walks. Ty Black went 3-for-4 including driving in a single run, and Tyler Finkler went yard for the second time of the year.

OU wraps up their series at Western Kentucky tomorrow afternoon at 2.

OU earned a second consecutive 3-0 shutout at Western Kentucky yesterday to close out their series. Next up for the Bobcats is a single game at Dayton on Friday.

In their first game in Dayton facing off against Wright State, the game did not go the Bobcats way, as they fell to the Raiders 6-1 earlier today. The Bobcats play their second game against Wright State tomorrow at 1pm.

The Bobcats got revenge in their second and final game against Wright State on the road this evening, it took 11 innings, but OU pulled out a 4-3 victory. Ohio will stay in Dayton over the weekend, as they will play Western Illinois on Sunday.

OU's game against Western Illinois today in Dayton has been cancelled. Their next game is Tuesday when they travel to Marshall.

The Bobcats game against Marshall has been cancelled. Since two games have already been cancelled, they had to make a last minute schedule change, and will host Shawnee State on Thursday.

In their home opener, the Bobcats picked up a 9-1 win over Shawnee State. This was a late scheduled make up game after two of the Bobcats games over the last week were cancelled. Next up, OU will host Siena in a double header at 1pm and 4pm tomorrow and a single game at noon on Sunday.

The Bobcats opened up their home schedule today, with split decisions. In their first game against Siena, OU fell 4-2, and then in their second game they earned a 7-4 victory. They wrap up their series against Siena tomorrow with the series finale at Noon.

OU wrapped up their series with a winning record against Siena this weekend with a Sunday 6-4 victory. On Tuesday, the Bobcats will host a one game set against Morehead State.

The Bobcats dropped an important non-conference game to Morehead State last night in Athens, 3-1. Rudy Rott led the Bobcats going 2-for-3 and scoring the only run of the game, and Ty Black went 3-for-4. OU will host Butler in a 3 game set this weekend next up.

Last night, the Bobcats opened their series opener against Butler 4-3. In 2 innings of relief, Jake Rudnicki took the loss on the mound, going 2 innings, allowing 3 hits and just 1 run and 1 walk. OU was led at the plate by Ty Black who went 3-for-4 scoring all the of the Bobcats runs on the game.

They wrap up their series today with a double header at 1pm and 4:30pm.

Playing a double header today, the Bobcats looked to get in the win column against Butler in Athens. Unfortunately, they were unable to do so. Losing both their games to the Bulldogs today, 7-6 and 5-4. Losing all three of their games in the series by one run each. On Tuesday, the Bobcats will make the drive up to Columbus to face off against the Buckeyes.
