The Lady Buckeyes played their exhibition game against the South Korean Olympic Team yesterday, and blew them out 8-0. Their regular season begins on Friday.

A successful opening weekend against RPI in Columbus for the women's ice hockey team as they swept RPI in their two game set, winning 4-1 on Friday and winning their game 4-0 today. Next weekend they will play a two game series at Minnesota as they play the #3 Gophers.

The Buckeyes hit the road this weekend on Friday and Saturday as they will play two games at #4 Minnesota.

The Lady Buckeyes continued their success on Friday night, winning at #4 Minnesota 3-2. This is their third consecutive win to open the season and they will play their final match at Minnesota on Saturday, facing off at 4:07pm.

Even though it counts as a tie, the Lady Buckeyes earned the win in shootout, following double overtime at #4 Minnesota Saturday night. The game was tied 5-5 going into the shootout, and the Buckeyes just edged the Gophers, to take home the tie, while the Gophers left with the loss. This coming Friday and Saturday, OSU will host Minnesota Duluth.

Opening up their home series against #5 Minnesota Duluth, the Buckeyes earned a 2-0 shutout victory in dominant fashion. OSU will close out their series against the Bulldogs tomorrow at 3:00pm.

For the second consecutive game, the #7 Buckeyes defeated #5 Minnesota Duluth, this time by a final score of 4-3. I think we can expect OSU to be a top 5 team come Monday. Next up is a two game series at St. Cloud State next Friday and Saturday.

Another game, another victory for the Lady Buckeyes. as they traveled to St. Cloud State and earned a 4-0 shutout victory in WCHA play. Tomorrow they will wrap up their 2 game set in St. Cloud, MN at 3:30pm.

For the Lady Buckeyes, their second game at St. Cloud State ended the same as the first, a 4-0 victory for OSU. Which means, the Buckeyes are still undefeated on the season. OSU has next weekend off, and will travel to Wisconsin the following weekend for two games.

For the first time this season, the Buckeyes dropped a game, but, it was at #1 Wisconsin. OSU fell to the Badgers by a final score of 7-0 as Wisconsin asserted their dominance over everyone in the college game. Tomorrow at 1pm, the Buckeyes will try to even the series.

For a second straight game, the Buckeyes fell on the road at the hands of #1 Wisconsin, this time by a score of 3-1. Although a disappointing weekend for OSU, they will be back at home next weekend as they play against Minnesota State on Friday and Saturday.

Opening up their 2 game weekend series at home against Minnesota State, the 5th ranked Buckeye claimed victory by a final score of 2-1. OSU trailed 1-0 after the first period, after the second they had tied it up at 1-1, then the Buckeyes scored the final and winning goal of the game minutes into the 3rd period. These two teams will face off again tomorrow at 2.

The fifth ranked Buckeyes closed out their series with conference foe Minnesota State on a high note, completing their sweep with a 5-3 victory this afternoon. OSU will hit the road again next weekend as they travel to Bemidji State for a two game set on Friday and Saturday.

Taking on Bemidji State for the first time of the season, the Buckeyes traveled to Bemidji, taking a 3-3 tie to overtime, then all the way through to the shootout. Although they ultimately picked up the tie by going to the shootout, but lost the shootout in 6 rounds. Tomorrow they will play at 4pm to pick up a win on the series.

In their second game at Bemidji State on Saturday, the Buckeyes got back in the win column, winning 5-4. They are back at it again next weekend, when they travel to Robert Morris for two games on Friday and Saturday.

The Buckeyes made the trek to Robert Morris this weekend, and opened up their two game series with Robert Morris and earned a dominating win on Friday night, winning 7-3. Tomorrow, they will wrap up their series at 2pm.

Although it took overtime, the 9th ranked Robert Morris Colonials dispatched of OSU 3-2. That completes their weekend series in a sweep. Next weekend, the Buckeyes will host St. Cloud State in a two game series on Friday and Saturday.

In their first game of the weekend against St. Cloud State, the Buckeyes tied 2-2, and ultimately won the shootout 1-1. They are currently playing their second and final game right now.

For the second time in as many games against St. Cloud State, the game was tied after OT, but the Buckeyes were able to claim an extra point by winning the shootout 1-0. OSU will have next weekend off, then they'll travel to Mercyhurst for two games on December 15-16.
