It was late, but none the less, it was a win for the 9th ranked Buckeyes as they scored a late 3rd period goal in Columbus to defeat Niagara 3-2. At the intermissions, OSU led 2-0; 2-1; 3-2.

They will wrap up their series tonight at 8pm.

The Buckeyes wrapped up their weekend sweep over visiting Niagara last night, by winning 4-1. OSU led at all breaks, 2-1; 3-1; 4-1.

Ohio State is back in action this coming weekend as they travel to East Lansing for a two game series with Michigan State.

Last night, the Buckeyes opened their Big Ten series at Michigan State, and left the arena with a 4-1 victory over the Spartans. The Buckeyes led at all intermissions, 2-0; 4-0; 4-1.

The 8th ranked Buckeyes wrap up their weekend series tonight at 7.

The Buckeyes wrapped up their weekend series at Michigan State tonight by defeating the Spartans 5-3 and completing the sweep. OSU led at the first intermission, 2-1, after the second both teams were tied at 2-2, then the Buckeyes used a huge third period to win the game.

Next up for OSU, they will travel to Penn State for more Big Ten play next Friday and Saturday for a two game series.

Opening up their series at #13 Penn State, the 6th ranked Buckeyes fell 5-2. Right from the get go, this was all Nittany Lions, after 1, PSU led 2-0, the game was very close at the end of the 2nd, as OSU trailed just 3-2, then the 3rd period is when Penn State shined, as they scored two unanswered goals to seal the series opening win.

The two teams play again tonight.

Ohio State went on the road tonight to finish off their weekend series at Penn State, and earned a 5-1 victory to officially split the weekend series. The Buckeyes led at all intermissions in this one, 2-1; 3-1; 5-1. Tanner Laczynski (1 goal; 2 assists) got the game started off right for OSU as he scored just 5 minutes in. A goal by Penn State 7 minutes later tied it at 1, then Ohio State took over. Freddy Gerard (2 goals; 1 assist) put the Buckeyes up for good at the 15:49 mark of the 1st period. Dakota Joshua and Austin Pooley also each scored a goal for the Scarlet & Gray. Tommy Napier recorded 30 saves on the night for the Buckeyes in the net.

Penn State's lone goal on the night came from Nikita Pavlychev in the first period.

Next up for the Buckeyes is a 2 game home series against rival Michigan on the 26th and 27th, as they have next weekend off.

The Buckeyes made use of their time off, opening their weekend series with #17 Michigan last night in Columbus, blanking the Wolverines 4-0. OSU led at all intermissions: 1-0; 2-0; 4-0. Mason Jobst (1 goal; 1 assist) and Dakota Joshua (1 goal; 1 assist) led Ohio State with 2 points each. Kevin Miller and Tanner Laczynski each also added a goal for OSU. Sean Romeo added 32 saves in goal in the win.

Ohio State and Michigan will wrap up their weekend series tonight at 8pm.

A complete weekend sweep for the Buckeyes was completed last night as they defeated #17 Michigan 5-3. It was tied 1-1 after the first period, the second period is where the Buckeyes took over as they took a 4-2 lead, then both teams registered 1 goal in the third period.

OSU will look to keep their momentum going next weekend as they host two games against Michigan State on Friday and Saturday.

Last night, the Buckeyes pulled out a B1G victory as they hosted and defeated Michigan State 4-2. OSU led at all intermissions, 2-0; 2-1; 4-2. Dakota Joshua poured in 2 goals and Freddy Gerard & Ronnie Hein each scored 1 for the Buckeyes.

OSU will wrap up their series tonight at 7.

The final game in their series against Michigan State didn't go the way of the Buckeyes last night, as they fell to the Spartans 6-3. Michigan State led at all intermissions: 3-1; 5-2; 6-3. For OSU, Matthew Weis, Dakota Joshua and Ronnie Hein each scored 1 goal.

Next up for Ohio State, they travel to Notre Dame on Friday and Saturday.

The Buckeyes wrapped up a good weekend against #1 Notre Dame, as they split the series 1-1.

In the first game, OSU was edged out by the Fighting Irish, 2-1. Following that, the two teams faced off again tonight, as the Buckeyes earned a dominant 5-1 victory.

Ohio State will hit the road again next weekend as they will play two games at Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.

In game one of their weekend series against Minnesota, the Buckeyes fell to the Gophers 2-1. Then, in the second game, after regulation and overtime, the game was tied at one each, then the Buckeyes won the shootout, thus earning the tie.

They will wrap up their regular season next weekend as they host Wisconsin.

Although there is still one weekend left in the regular season, the Big Ten has announced Quarterfinal round matchups in the conference tournament. The Buckeyes will host Michigan State in a best of 3 series March 2-4.

In their next to last game of the regular season, the Buckeyes dominated at home, defeating Big Ten Conference foe Wisconsin, 6-2. OSU got two goals each from Tanner Laczynski and Dakota Joshua, followed by one goal each from Brendon Kearney and Christian Lampasso. Sean Romero recorded 36 saves in goal for OSU.

Ohio State will wrap up their regular season tomorrow at 7 against Wisconsin.

Wrapping up their regular season today on senior night, the Buckeyes earned a 4-0 blanking over Wisconsin.

Next weekend, they will begin the first round of the Big Ten Tournament in a best of 3 against Michigan State.

Ohio State opened up the first round of the Big Ten Tournament, defeating Michigan State 6-2. It was a scoring frenzy for the Buckeyes, as six different players scored a goal. Sean Romeo recorded 18 saves in goal for OSU.

This match-up is a best of 3, where OSU already took the first game. They will play again today at 7pm.

It was a clean sweep for the Buckeyes in the Quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament, as they defeated Michigan State 4-3 in OT today. Mason Jobst put in 2 goals to lead all scorers for the Buckeyes. Sean Romeo recorded 15 saves in goal.

OSU's Semifinal matchup is to be announced, which will take place next Saturday at home.

The Buckeyes, as the #2 seed, will host one of the Big Ten Semifinal games, they will host rival Michigan at Nationwide Arena on Saturday.

Ohio State and Michigan have already played four games this year, where OSU is 4-0 against the Wolverines.

Yesterday, the Buckeyes earned a 3-2 victory in overtime over #11 Michigan in the Big Ten Semifinal. Three separate Buckeyes scored in the victory, and Sean Romeo recorded 29 saves.

Ohio State will travel to Notre Dame this coming Saturday to play in the Big Ten Championship.
