North Carolina is off the hook
The NCAA gave up on the case against North Carolina yesterday. Basically, it said it has no jurisdiction in determining athlete eligibility if they take cake classes as long as those classes are open to all students. The floodgates are open at big schools now. Heck, I might be able to teach some.college courses now.

Yeah, this is really going to open up the flood gates, not only for student-athletes, but for regular students as well. If something is not done about this, this could jeopardize the academic integrity of many schools. Speaking as a coach at a small academic school, that is the last thing that I would want to happen.
