In addition to listing the championship team, I am also listing the number of titles they have in that sport and what years they won them.

Re: NCAA 2017 Fall Championships
What a game in the DIII football national championship. We saw Mount Union claim their 13th national title, over reigning national champion Mary Hardin-Baylor, 12-0. It was a defensive battle as the nation's #1 ranked offense (Mount Union), took on the nation's #1 defense (Mary Hardin-Baylor).
On top of all that, this was the last Stagg Bowl to be played in Salem, which has hosted the game for the last 25 consecutive years.
It was a nice path to the title for Mount Union, and the most dominant program in DIII history:
vs. Washington & Lee - W 21-0
vs. Case Western - W 45-16
vs. Frostburg State - W 70-37
vs. Wisconsin-Oshkosh - W 43-40
vs. Mary Hardin-Baylor - W 12-0

Re: NCAA 2017 Fall Championships
In a game that seemed to have drawn little interest, turned out to be a fantastic national championship game, with two teams from the SEC, as Alabama came back from a 20-7 third quarter deficit to defeat Georgia 26-23 in OT. In a game where Saban was yet again coaching against one of his former assistant coaches, he came out on top yet again, as he has never lost to one of his former assistants.
This was the 5th national title for Saban since he has been at Alabama, and his 6th overall. This was also the 15th national title (CFP, BCS, Poll) in Alabama program history.
