If I can remember right both sort of tailed off near the end of the year.

Thought this would be a better game. But MSU wins in a thrashing 42-17.

Watched 2nd half...if this bunch of guys stay together MS will be good next year..WS beat USC earlier in the year and OSU beat MS bad????????????

Wow the WAZU defense made Sparty look like the second coming of the 84 Dolphins. In all fairness the Cougars were decimated with injuries and missing players, but it gives the BIG 14 a great Bowl record so far.

Another factor is that Wazzu defensive coordinator Alex Grinch is rumored to be going to Ohio State as the 10th coach. Maybe he and his unit phoned it in. Still a
great win by Sparty.

Only because I am hoping to see the Big Ten do well in the bowl season, I am happy to see Michigan State post the win in this one.
