They are expected to hold a press conference later today to announce the hiring.

Pruitt is part of the Saban team at Alabama and will likely be a better fit at Tennessee than would Schiano. Pruitt is familiar with the SEC. The only question is can he recruit like Kirby Smart at Georgia.
