Oregon State gets called for traveling on the inbound pass and they fall at home. The refs let both teams, especially Utah play like it was football and not basketball in this one. The Beavers did get a steal with less than a second remaining, but the prayer they threw up from over half court was not close to going in.

Utah (10-3 2-0) Hit 47.8% of their shots from the three point line and 81.3% from the charity strip in the win. Leading the Utes in scoring was Justin Bibbins(Carson, CA) with 18 points. He hit 4 0f 8 from three point land.

For the Beavers(9-5, 1-1) who had three Freshmen and a Soph on the floor at the same time, it was a tough pill to swallow losing this one. Leading the way was Soph Tres Tinkle(Missoula, MT) with 14 points.
