The Buckeyes got back into action last night, as they began a two game road tilt in Pennsylvania. They took on Penn State last night, and picked up a 3-2 (25-18; 21-25; 23-25; 28-26; 15-12) victory.

OSU will play their final match of this weekend at St. Francis (PA) tonight at 7.

Ohio State completed a weekend sweep in the state of PA, as they earned a 3-0 (25-18; 25-18; 25-19) dominant victory of St. Francis (PA).

They will travel to Quincy on Friday and Lindenwood on Sunday.

Last night, the Buckeyes earned a dominant 3-0 (25-16; 25-9; 25-23) victory over Quincy on the road. It was not only an important win for the Buckeyes, but also an important conference road victory.

OSU will finish up their weekend series at conference foe Lindenwood tomorrow.

Earlier today, the Buckeyes were able to pull off another conference road victory, as they traveled to Lindenwood and scratched out a win, 3-2 (25-22; 24-26; 24-26; 29-27; 15-11).

With only two weeks left in the regular season, the Buckeyes will play their final home matches next weekend, as they host Loyola-Chicago on Thursday and host Lewis on Saturday.

The Buckeyes win streak continued last night as they defeated conference opponent, #6 Loyola-Chicago 3-1 (25-20; 25-16; 39-41; 25-19).

Next up for OSU will be a Saturday match against Lewis, in their final regular season home match.

Another top 10 team invaded Columbus last night, in #10 Lewis, as the Buckeyes looked to continue winning in conference play. They dominated Lewis 3-0 (25-18; 25-18; 25-19).

That wrapped up their final regular season matches at home. Next weekend, they have two games in Indiana, as they travel to Fort Wayne on Friday and Ball State on Saturday.

Playing in their final regular season weekend, the Buckeyes hit the road last night to take on #15 Fort Wayne in a conference match-up. OSU swept the Mastadons 3-0 (25-18; 25-23; 25-16) for the win. That was a big win for one reason, it clinched the MIVA regular season title for Ohio State.

They wrap up their regular season on Sunday at Ball State.

Although they didn't end the regular season on a winning note, it didn't matter to the Buckeyes all that much, as they secured the regular season conference crown. Saturday, they fell on the road to #12 Ball State in five sets 3-2 (25-16; 25-22; 22-25; 17-25; 13-15).

They will get the top overall seed in the conference tournament, which is set to begin this Saturday.

Ohio State will open the MIVA Tournament in the quarterfinals, as they host Quincy. In their two regular season matches, the Buckeyes earned 3-0 victories in both matches.

They will play Saturday at 7pm in St. John Arena.

For the third time this season, the Buckeyes swept Quincy, 3-0. But, this time it was under much more important circumstances, the MIVA Conference Tournament. OSU's 3-0 (25-22; 25-18; 25-12) victory helps them to advance to the semifinal of the MIVA Tournament, which will be on Wednesday against the winner of Lewis and Fort Wayne.

Buckeye players also have earned several postseason conference awards.

Nicolas Szerszen earned MIVA Player of the Year honors.

Szerszen, Sanil Thomas and Maxime Hervoir earned 1st Tm All-Conference honors.

Blake Leeson and Jake Hanes earned 2nd Tm All-Conference honors.

Jake Hanes was named to the All-Freshman team.

The Buckeyes will host Lewis on Wednesday in the MIVA Semifinals. Ohio State and Lewis have split their two matches in the regular season.

For the third consecutive season, the Buckeyes have advanced to the MIVA Tournament championship game. They did so by defeating 10th ranked Lewis 3-2 (25-9; 25-17; 22-25; 20-25; 15-8) in a tight top 10 battle.

Their next match is a big one, as they will host 8th ranked Loyola Chicago in the MIVA Championship on Saturday night for the league's auto bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Conference tournament champions yet again for the Buckeyes. Ohio State defeated #8 Loyola-Chicago in the MIVA Championship match 3-0 (25-20; 25-23; 25-19) to claim both the regular season and tournament conference title, and earn the conference's auto bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The opening round will be contested on Thursday, as the Buckeyes host King University at 7pm. The winner of that match will play UC Irvine in the 2nd round next Tuesday.

In the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, the Buckeyes cruised to a 3-0 (25-13; 25-23; 25-18) victory over King. This match was never really in question, as the second set was the only one that was really even that close.

OSU will continue their trek to win their third consecutive title as they continue to the 2nd round and face #5 UC Irvine on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

It was a five set drama-infused thriller on Tuesday night in LA. Ohio State downed #5 UC Irvine 3-2 (25-19; 22-25; 25-23; 22-25; 16-14) in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament to advance to Thursday nights semifinal matchup with #1 seed Long Beach State.

A historic run by the Buckeyes came to an end on Thursday night, as they faced off against #1 Long Beach State, and lost 3-1 (22-25; 23-25; 27-25; 30-32). What made this loss historic was that this was the first postseason loss (conference and national tournament) for the Buckeyes since the 2015 season.
