Upset in the MAAC last night with Monmouth (5-10, 1-2 Conf) taking down Manhattan(7-8, 2-1 Conf)Monmouth without their leading scorer Micah Seaborn, who was out for an injury. Junior Diago Quinn(New York, NY)led the winners with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Helping out with 17 points was Freshman Deion Hammond(Mitchellville, MD) As a team the Hawks hit 56.5% of their shots from the field and made 70% of their free throws.

For the Jaspers the upset had to be tough to swallow as they had a gigantic chance to move to 3-0 in conference play. In defeat they got a 20 points from senior Rich Williams(Brooklyn, NY)
