This MAAC game was good until about 10 minutes left in the game. That is when Canisius (17-9, 11-2 Conf) took control for good. Hitting just 40.7% of their shots the Golden Griffins depended on a tight defense to push them to the conference win and sweep of the Bobcats.

For the Golden Griffins,Jermaine Crumpton(Niagara Falls, NY) led the way with 14 points. The bench was a main clog in the win, with the unit scoring 25 points,with all five of the unit that played scored. Leading the way off of the bench was,Jibreel Faulkner(Washington D.C.)who scored 9 points.

For Quinnipiac, it was another loss where the team looked to have ran out of gas. Hitting 45.6% of their shots was not enough in this one. hitting just 8-27 three's did little for them in this one. Leading the way in defeat was,Cameron Young(Los Angeles, CA)who scored 16 points. The bench saw just three players play and they combined to score 18 points.
