George Fox and UMass Boston shared the national title in DIII women's track with 44 points each, followed by Washington-St Louis (38). For George Fox, it was their first title in program history. For UMass-Boston, it was their second and first since 1986. All-Americans from Ohio colleges on day 3 included:

Emily Richards (4:25.08) from Ohio Northern claimed the national championship in the 1500m. She also claimed the national title in the 800m (2:04.22).

Kelly Brennan (2:10.65) of Baldwin Wallace claimed a 6th place finish in the 800m.

Lilah Drafts-John (59.34) of Oberlin claimed the national title in the 400m hurdles.

For the second time in three years, and the fourth time in program history, California has won the DI rowing national championship. They claimed the championship with 130 points, followed by Washington with 128 points and Texas with 115 points.

Central Oklahoma has claimed their first national title in program history in DII rowing. Although the point standings won't show it, they destroyed their competition, winning the title with 18 points. Followed by Western Washington with 14 and Florida Tech with 13.

Bates has claimed their second consecutive national championship in DIII rowing, and their third in program history (all in the past 4 years). They claimed the title with 56 team points, and Wellesley finished runner-up with 45 points.

For the first time in program history, Texas A&M-Kingsville has won the DII national title in men's track & field. They won the title with 65 points, followed by Ashland with 51 and Tiffin with 50. Day 3 All-Americans from colleges in Ohio included:

Tiffin claimed a runner-up finish in the 4x100m relay (39.83).

Myles Pringle (45.35) of Ashland claimed the national title in the 400m. He then came back and claimed an 8th place finish in the 200m (21.28).

Jonte Baker (10.36) claimed 5th and Reginald Thomas (10.54) claimed 7th in the 100m, both from Tiffin.

James Ngandu (14:04.85) of Tiffin claimed a 4th place finish in the 5k.

Ashland claimed the national title in the 4x400m relay (3:07.66).

Tiffin's Jalon Monigan (15.70m; 51' 6.25") finished 3rd in the triple jump.

Nik Curtis (18.75m; 61' 6.25"; a grad of Lancaster) finished as runner-up in the shot put. Elijah Talk (18.31m; 60' 1") finished as 3rd in the shot put.

Lincoln (Missouri) claimed their 8th national title in program history in DII women's track & field, winning the title with 60 points. They were followed by St. Augustine's with 48.5 and Angelo State with 42.5. The All-Americans from Ohio colleges in day 3 included:

Sarah Berger (4:22.22) of Walsh claimed the national title in the 1500m. Her teammate, Andra Lehotay (4:25.25) earned 6th in the same event.

Janelle Perry (13.35) of Ursuline claimed the national title in the 100m hurdles. Milani Glass of Findlay claimed 7th in the same event.

Megan Tomei (15.54m; 51') of Ashland finished in 4th in the shot put.

Merrimack has claimed their first DII men's lacrosse national title in program history, and did so in dominating fashion. Merrimack, the #1 seed, defeated #2 Saint Leo 23-6 in the championship game on Sunday. Their path to the title included:

vs. #4 NYIT - W 24-6
vs. #2 Seton Hill - W 16-9
vs. #2 Saint Leo - W 23-6

Wesleyan (Connecticut) has claimed their first ever national title in DIII men's lacrosse, defeating Salisbury 8-6. Their path to the title included:

vs. Cabrini - W 12-7
vs. Tufts - W 12-11
vs. RIT - W 19-18
vs. Salisbury - W 8-6

In yet another lacrosse championship where the national champion was a first-time winner, James Madison defeated Boston College 16-15 in DI women's lacrosse to win the national title. This was James Madison's first title in program history, and it was the second year in a row that Boston College is the national runner-up. James Madison's path to the title included:

vs. #6 Florida - W 11-8
vs. #2 North Carolina - W 15-12
vs. #4 Boston College - W 16-15

For the first time in program history, 3rd seed Yale has claimed the national title, defeating #4 Duke 13-11 earlier today. Their path to the title included:

For the third time in program history and the second consecutive year, Gettysburg has won the national title in DIII women's lacrosse. They defeated Middlebury 11-9 earlier today. Their path to the title included:

Southern Indiana cruised it's way through the DII softball tournament, claiming their first title in school history. After winning their regional, they received the #8 seed (there are only 8 teams) in the national tournament. Their path to the title included:

vs. #4 Angelo State - W 3-0
vs. #6 Saint Leo - W 5-4
vs. #2 Saint Anselm - W 4-0
vs. #2 Saint Anselm - W 8-3

The bracket in DI baseball has been revealed. The bracket is comprised of 16 regional sites, where the top seed in each will serve as host. Each of those regional sites has 4 teams, and they will play a double elimination style bracket. The winner of each regional will play in a double elimination super regional. The winners of each of those will advance to the College World Series.

Regionals will begin on Friday. Wright state is the #4 seed in the Stanford Regional. Kent State is the #3 seed in the Texas Tech Regional. Ohio State is the #3 seed in the East Carolina Regional.

Final qualifier advancements from regionals were announced today in DI men's and women's track and field. To qualify for the outdoor finals, the top 12 in each event at each of the 2 regional sites advanced. The championships will be held at Historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, on the campus of the University of Oregon, June 6-9.

Florida enters the championships as the #1 seed on the men's side. On the women's side, the #1 ranked team is USC.

University of Texas-Tyler has claimed the DIII baseball national championship crown, for the first time in school history. After winning their regional, UT-Tyler cruised through the championship bracket with only one loss. Their path to the title included:

vs. Oswego State - W 10-5
vs. Misericordia - W 7-3
vs. Randolph Macon - L 6-1
vs. Randolph Macon - W 8-6
vs. Texas Lutheran - W 8-1
vs. Texas Lutheran - W 9-6

It took all 3 games in the national championship series, but Virginia Wesleyan was able to claim their second title in DIII softball in program history, with that being their second consecutive. After winning their regional, VWU didn't have a single slip-up in the national tournament until the champ series, and was able to overcome that to win the title. Their path to the title included:

vs. Luther - W 3-0
vs. Ithaca - W 1-0
vs. Illinois Wesleyan - W 6-1
vs. Illinois Wesleyan - L 5-4

For the 11th time in program history, and their first time since 2006, Oklahoma State has claimed the DI men's golf national title. The Cowboys earned their title by dominating Alabama in the final, 5-0. Oklahoma State entered the national tournament as the unanimous #1 team in the nation, and held up to snuff sweeping the title match.

There was yet another first time national champion this spring, coming by Augustana (South Dakota) in DII baseball, defeating Columbus State 3-2. Their path to the national title included:

For the first time in program history, Florida State has won the softball college world series. They were just flat out better in this series against Washington, and the former BC standout pitcher, winning 1-0 and 8-3. Not only was it FSU's first title in program history, but they have become the first school ever from the ACC to win the national softball title. Their path to the title came with little resistance:

A busy first day is in the books at the D1 Track & Field Championships. Events today included semifinal heats in the men's running events, and the final in the men's 10k. It also included day 1 of the decathlon and some field events on the men's side (hammer, pole vault, javelin, long jump shot put). Day 1 individual national champions include:

Men's Hammer - Denzel Comenentia (Georgia) - 76.41 meters (250' 8")
Men's Pole Vault - Chris Nilsen (South Dakota) - 5.83 meters (19' 1.5") **NCAA Meet Record
