It was a wild and crazy tournament in DI women's golf, that saw Arizona claim their fourth national title in program history and their first since 2000. Just getting into bracket match play was a challenge for the Wildcats, as they won a sudden death playoff with Baylor to make it to the final eight team bracket.

As the #8 seed in the bracket, their first match was against #1 UCLA, in which they won 3-2. In the semifinals, they defeated #5 Stanford 4-1. Then, in the finals, they defeated #2 Alabama 3-2.
