yes this is a team that has hit some hard times. it's hard telling how many years ago this was scheduled in advance. they are not that far removed from being a pretty competitive ball club. then I think we have Tulane then tcu at tcu. one can never take a major program too lightly, but on paper it already looks over. these are the games urban needs to make short work with.

I looked it up this game was scheduled in Aug. 2014. They were better back then but still just a middle of the pack Pac 12 team.

Well the Oregon St. game just got more interesting. Can you imagine the press coverage around that game no matter what happens about the coaching situation between now and then?

Regardless of what happens with Urban (I can’t imagine him being fired) these Buckeyes will be fired up and I pity the souls lined up across from them.
When Meyer is re-instated they will be so glad he’s back and ready to win a championship for him.
If OSU screws it up and fires him, these Buckeyes will be so mad they will be out to prove something and win a Championship for him.

ESPN (I know, none of us like them) has come out with their preseason list of the top 50 players in the country (regardless of position). Ed Oliver (DT from Houston) is #1 on the list. But, the Buckeyes are well represented on the list including:

Nick Bosa - Ranked the #6 overall player heading into this college football season. The highest ranked pure defensive end.

JK Dobbins - Ranked as the #23 best player in the country. That is 5th among running backs.

Dwayne Haskins - Ranked as the #32 best player in the country. 12th among QBs.
