42-14 Ohio State at half. Now lightening/rain delay.

Haskins and the offense looks great. Defense not so much.

Oregon State is simply out manned athletically. TOSU team will not be tested until TCU.

Offense looks unstoppable but we need the pump the brakes a little. Beavers were ranked 120 in total defense last year. Defense has given up a ton of passing yards against the backup QB to a team ranked 116 in offense last year. Urbs will have plenty to yell about when he gets back.

77-31 Buckeyes is the final score. Offense looked great, defense obviously has issues. As Cbolt pointed out, the jury is still out on this Ohio team as Oregon State is not very good.

Almost 400 yards put up against the Buck defense! Lets hope the Beaver offense has improved greatly this year or the Bucks are going to be in a lot of high scoring shootouts.

Haskins is the real deal. Maybe the best offense ever at OSU.

Weber looks great. Maybe has a much better year than Dobbins and really has that extra gear.

LBs sucked. Slow. Missed tackles. The secondary will improve quickly. Bosa, Young and Jones are nasty.

I truly believe Oregon St is much improved. The QB can sling it and their RB is a burner.

Weber is fast! Dobbins has good takeoff speed but doesn't have the top end of Weber. Once Weber gets in the open the defense can just wave goodbye. I can't wait to see how they look against a better defense. Seems like receivers were running wide open all day long. Chris Carter said Haskins is the most talented QB since Art Schlicter. That is saying something!

Not a gauge game by any means for the Bucks. The Beaver Cleavers are not very good. Penn State had trouble with Appy State, and IMO, Appy could have played with anyone today. They was playing good football today just as they did 11 years ago beating Michigan.

Worst schedule in America.

Pretty close to the worst. The Big-10 never should have added Rutgers and Maryland to the mix and they just did it for the East coast $ and not competitive reasons. IMO Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Iowa should play each other every year. When was the last time Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois, Rutgers or Maryland were even competitive in the conference by year end ? I'll leave Northwestern out of that final mix of teams as Pat Fitzgerald is a helluva coach at a academic institution and gets better than expected results year after year with a lot less talent than most others. Ok, done with my rant !!!!!

The biggest issue with the defense was the inability to prevent big plays.

defense has got to tighten things up! A butt thumpin vs Rutgers is much needed. Better play at LB needed. Don't give Rutgers anything....remember...TCU is coming up. Gary Patterson will throw the kitchen sink and more at ya.
