Illinois cornerbacks coach Donnie Abraham resigns
Lovie Smith's staff at Illinois took a hit on Tuesday night when cornerbacks coach Donnie Abraham resigned.
Abraham joined Smith's staff at Illinois in 2017 as the safeties coach. Prior to that, he was the defensive coordinator at IMG Academy in Florida from 2015-16.
As another Big 10 team loses a coach close to the start of the season.
