This one was a little too close for comfort for Notre Dame. Although it's a win, most people haven't been too impressed with the Irish yet this year. Final stats:
Notre Dame leaders:
Brandon Wimbush - 13/23; 122 pass yds; 84 rush yds; 1 rush TD
Tony Jones Jr - 17 carries; 118 rush yds; 56 rec. yds
Alize Mack - 3 receptions; 25 rec. yds
Justin Yoon - 3/4 FGs; 1/1 XP
Vanderbilt leaders:
Kyle Shurmur - 26/43; 326 pass yds; 1 TD/1 INT
Ke'Shawn Vaughn - 10 carries; 54 rush yds; 1 rush TD
Jared Pinkney - 5 receptions; 111 rec. yds; 1 TD
Ryley Guay - 1/2 FGs; 2/2 XPs

With Wisconsin losing Notre Dame may not drop, although they should.

Two straight weeks of subpar football, I would be surprised if they didn't drop 1 or 2.

Notre Dame is overrated but they will pick up votes with this unimpressive win on their own field.

They've been overrated since Holtz left just because of the name.
