WTF are you talking about lol? These recent games have been great. OSU has the most watched games nationally all year. Just won a NC 3 years ago.

The rivalry is far from dead.

In the last 50 years the Big-10 trails the SEC, BIG12, PAC10 and Independents in Nat'l titles outright or shared and would be behind the ACC if they counted Florida St. titles before they joined the ACC. The WAC with BYU's title in 84' won over a 6-5 Michigan team is the only major conference (which is no more ) behind the Big-10 in the past half century. (Just food for thought)

The Hype Bowl. And you are 100% correct in what you have posted.

Since 2000 Michigan has basically been an 8-5 football team. Maybe just a tad BETTER..But not much..In a conference, that in reality, has been poor for a long time. But is constantly being propped up by the media and the major Television companies because of the political clout and the CASH...And it is a joke.

Michigan is 17-24 against Power-5 opponents Out-Of-Conference since the year 2000..That is 41%...

Michigan has played MAC schools 19 times during this time period. They have played 21 other games against non-Power -5 teams Out-Of-Conference...40 games....Just pointing this out to ohio and big 14 HOMERS who are ALWAYS bringing up schedule strength when an outbreak of envytidehatesec comes over them.....

There will be 10's of thousands of people who will tune in to this ballgame to see if ohio's Pinnochio can still put on a TONY,Day-time EMMY,and Academy Award for best supporting ACTOR, worthy performance again this week......"As the pontiff Turns"..Viewed by millions....

Weather has changed for the game most of the rains clearing out.
Rain, mainly before 11am. High near 50. Southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

This is a BIG GAME if only in Buckeye Fans minds. Teams could be winless going in and the place would be packed. No matter where the game is played. All the talk about this or that doesn't matter. As the bands play and the game starts. As the teams run onto the field toward the sidelines or maybe into a fight. Never know what happens during plays or after plays. The excitement is there. If you do not like it turn the channel. As it is game day.

Both BR and FOS are right.

The "hate" angle to the game prior to the internet and the 24/7 sports news cycle did not exist to the extent it does today. The game has always been a rivalry with great traditions and fierce competition, but the media ran with the so called Woody versus Bo ten year war and turned the event into something bigger than it actually was. That said, OSU-Michigan games have had on many occasions conference and national implications, the Game garners big ratings, and the rivalry is still very much alive but not necessarily healthy unless both teams can notch a win on occasion.

It's already over and It's only 7-0, (Overhyped and that announcer Gus Johnson is the worst. He narrates every play as it was the last out in the world series, a 2 pt. conversion to win the Superbowl or a dunk to climax an NBA title.)

7-6 State start of second. Michigan power versus Ohio State finesse.
Momentum shifting to Blue.

Buckeyes 14-6. Haskins to Olave. Where has Olave been prior to the last two games?

21-13 Bucks. The D finally broke. Patterson is as advertised being a dual threat QB.
