It was a tough opening dual meet of the season for the Buckeyes as they traveled to Athens, Georgia to take on the Bulldogs. They ultimately fell to Georgia, 196.6 - 194.9. The Buckeyes scored 48.725 on bars, led by freshman Colby Miller. On the vault, OSU scored 48.650, led by defending B1G champion Jamie Stone. OSU then scored a nice 48.950 on the floor routine, led by Janelle McClelland. On the final individual event of the night, the Buckeyes scored 48.575 on the beam.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to NC State next Saturday for a dual meet.

The Buckeyes earned their third consecutive victory on Sunday, all coming on the road, by defeating Michigan State 196.200 - 195.225. It was a very solid performance for OSU, but it was so close because the Spartans scored the best they have all season.

The Buckeyes notched a 49 on the bars to kick the meet off. Then, they registered a season-high on the vault by scoring a 48.975. The Buckeyes cruised to another season-high on the floor, with a 49.125. OSU wrapped up the meet with a score of 49.100 in the beam.

Ohio State's next competition is on Saturday when they host Iowa.

It was the home opener for OSU, and they opened it up in style, defeating Iowa 195.000-194.775. The Buckeyes won three individual events, and took first in the all-around. They finished first in the vault, bars and floor.

Next up, they'll travel to Maryland for another dual on Friday.

Friday night marked the first loss for the Buckeyes since their season opener when they fell to Georgia. Last night, OSU fell to Maryland on the road 195.950 - 194.250.

The Buckeyes started off the meet strong on the uneven bars, both with the high individual and the high team score. Again the Buckeyes won the next event, the vault, both with the high team score and the high individual score, also scoring a season-high as a team on the vault. Individually, the Buckeyes then scored a first and third place finish in the floor exercise. The Terrapins were right there all night. Even though the Buckeyes scored solidly on beam, Maryland did so well in that event, it was enough to win the meet.

Next up, Ohio State host Nebraska next Saturday.

Next up for Ohio State will be the Big Ten Five Meet where they will travel to Toledo next Saturday. They will be competing against Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan and Rutgers.
