Thanks Chieftain2009 for all your work on these updates.
I just realized that with the completion of the Rose Bowl, the vaunted Big10 East Division won only one of their bowl games while the lightly regarded Big 10 West Division went 4-1.

Re: Bowl Records by Conference
Looks like the Bowl Cup goes to Conference USA with a 66.6 winning percentage.
The Big 12 had the best winning percentage among Power 5 conferences at 62.5%, followed by the B1G (55.5%), SEC (54.5%), ACC (50%) and Pac 12 (42.8%).
The MAC had the worst bowl season at 1-5 which amounts to a 16.6 winning percentage.

Re: Bowl Records by Conference
Last year the B1G only lost one bowl game yet it was never mentioned in terms of "helping" the B1G in any way this year. So to me, the head to heads between the conferences in the bowl games are meaningless.
ESPN is going to promote the SEC, the committee is going to use the "eye test" to determine who they want in the final 4 anyways and its just best to hope that your own personal team wins their bowl game and move on.
