Just like the last couple of years, I will be doing a threat for Ohio State's main sports (besides football), highlighting their results from every game (or match). In the fall, I will only be doing women's volleyball. In the winter, I will be doing men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey and wrestling. In the spring, I will be doing baseball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's lacrosse, softball and men's volleyball.

Ohio State got back on track Saturday night as they hosted Rutgers and won in straight sets, 3-0 (25-15; 25-12; 26-24). This was a win that the Buckeyes desperately needed after falling in three consecutive matches, all coming to conference foes. OSU is now off until Friday when they travel to Illinois, and then make the trek over to Northwestern on Saturday.

When it comes to volleyball in the Big Ten, you can expect to play one of the best teams in the nation almost any night. That was no different for the Buckeyes tonight, as they hosted #5 Minnesota, ultimately losing 3-0 (15-25; 20-25; 18-25). In the remaining schedule, the Buckeyes still will play 5 more top 25 teams and 2 more receiving votes, just in Big Ten play.
