Tonight was an important win for the Bobcats, putting them over the .500 mark in conference play. They defeated Akron 3-0 (25-19; 25-13; 25-21). Even though Akron is not a good team, it looks like OU is starting to play well at the right time. They will host Buffalo tomorrow night.

Back over .500 for the Bobcats. OU traveled to Bowling Green tonight looking to win their third consecutive MAC matchup, this time against a very good team, and the Bobcats downed the Falcons 3-2 (25-17; 15-25; 25-20; 15-25; 17-15). Tomorrow OU will travel to Miami (OH) and look for a 4th consecutive victory.

OU was unable to continue their win streak to 4 as they fell to a dominate Miami (OH) team in MAC play 3-0 (19-25; 22-25; 13-25). With only two regular season matches remaining for the Bobcats, they'll look to finish out their season on a high note. They finish out the season by hosting Kent State on Thursday and Central Michigan on Saturday.

Tonight, the Bobcats jumped on visiting Kent State quick and came out with a sweep 3-0 (25-23; 25-23; 25-20). That brings the record for OU back over .500. They will close out their regular season on Saturday as they host Central Michigan.

The Bobcats earned the #4 seed in the MAC Tournament, which meant they earned a bye to the Quarterfinal round of the tournament. After the first round upset #8 Eastern Michigan taking down #5 Buffalo, OU will take on the Eagles of EMU in the next round, which will be tomorrow at 4:30pm. In the Ohio and Eastern Michigan previous matchup this season, the Bobcats took that win in 3-2 fashion.

Opening up play in the MAC tournament, the Bobcats earned a quarterfinal win over Eastern Michigan, 3-1 (25-20; 26-24; 23-25; 25-23). With that win, the Bobcats are now only two more away from claiming their 10th MAC tournament title. Playing in the semifinal of the MAC tournament in Oxford, the Bobcats took on Miami, and unfortunately for them, the Redhawks ended the Bobcats season by a score of 3-0 (21-25; 21-25; 23-25). It was a decent season for the Bobcats, but not what the program is accustom to these days.
