Like I've done with Ohio State and OU the last couple years, I will have a threat highlighting the main sports at OU (except football). In the fall, I will only be doing women's volleyball. In the winter I will be doing men's and women's basketball as well as wrestling. In the spring I will do baseball and softball.

The Bobcats had to earn this win, but they defeated host Samford in the Courtyard by Marriott Invitational 3-2 (25-19; 17-25; 25-20; 22-25; 15-10) in Birmingham last night. Jaime Kosiorek led the Bobcats in total points with 19.5, followed by Lizzie Stephens and Tia Jimerson with 15 each. Their final game of the tournament began today at 2pm against Southeastern Louisiana.

OU finishes the Courtyard by Marriott Invitational in Birmingham 3-0, by defeating Southeastern Louisiana 3-0 (25-18; 25-18; 25-20) in three quick sets. Jaime Kosiorek was yet again the leading scorer for the Bobcats with 18 points, followed up by the only other Bobcat with double digits in Tia Jimerson with 11 points. Ohio carries their undefeated, 3-0 record to Dayton to take on the Flyers on Tuesday.

The first loss of the season for OU comes on the road at #RV Dayton, 3-1 (26-28; 25-16; 8-25; 19-25). The Bobcats had two players in double digits in points with Lizzie Stephens (13) and Tia Jimerson (10). Next up for Ohio is a big weekend as they host the Bobcat Invitational presented by Texas Roadhouse where they will host Georgia, Oklahoma and High Point. They'll play Georgia and Oklahoma on Friday and High Point on Saturday.

In the first round of the Bobcat Invitational, Ohio (3-2) falls to Georgia (5-0) in straight sets, 3-0 (16-25; 21-25; 14-25). Not much scoring happened for OU besides the third set, Tia Jimerson led the team with 12 points followed by Carley Remmers with 10.5 points. Next up for the Bobcats is a match with Oklahoma at 7:30pm tonight.

After two consecutive losses, Ohio (4-2) got back in the win column in a big way tonight in their own invitational over Oklahoma (1-4) by a final score of 3-2 (19-25; 20-25; 25-23; 25-21; 15-7). Three Bobcats finished with double digit points with Lizzie Stephens leading the way with 25 points, Tia Jimerson with 21 points and Carley Remmers with 14 points. OU"s final match of their own tournament will be tomorrow when they play High Point at 2pm.

In the finale of the Bobcat Invitational, OU (4-3) falls to High Point (4-2) by a final score of 3-2 (25-23; 24-26; 24-26; 26-24; 15-17). Double digit scorers for the Bobcats were Lizzie Stephens with 28 points, Tia Jimerson with 27 points and followed by Sara Januszewski with 16.5 points. Next up for the Bobcats is a matchup with Marshall on Tuesday in Athens.

The Bobcats (5-3) defeated non-conference rival Marshall (2-6) tonight in Athens 3-1 (25-23; 25-22; 11-25; 25-21). Lizzie Stephens led the team with 21.5 points followed by Tia Jimerson with 18.5 points. Next up is the Jefferson Cup hosted by the University of Virginia where they will play Howard on Friday and will play VCU and Virginia on Saturday.

In their first game of the Jefferson Cup in Charlottesville, the Bobcats (6-3) downed Howard (1-7) by a final score of 3-1 (25-19; 17-25; 25-21; 25-23). Tia Jimerson led the team with 18 points, followed by Lizzie Stephens with 17 points and Sara Januszewski with 12 points. Tomorrow, the Bobcats will wrap up the tournament against VCU and host Virginia.

On the final day of the Jefferson Cup, the Bobcats went 0-2, falling to VCU 3-0, and then falling to host Virginia 3-0 as well. Next up for the Bobcats is the Penn State Classic next weekend. They will play Wake Forest on Friday, then will play Yale and Penn State on Saturday.

It was a rough weekend at the Penn State Classic for the Bobcats. In their opener, they lost to Wake Forest 3-1 (25-21; 21-25; 17-25; 19-25). They followed that up by falling 3-0 (14-25; 18-25; 14-25) to Yale on Saturday. Then in the finale, they lost to host and #2 Penn State 3-0 (15-25; 15-25; 19-25). OU will open up MAC play this week when they travel to Buffalo on Friday.

The Bobcats went 1-1 over the weekend in MAC play. At Buffalo on Friday, they lost 3-1 (25-21; 21-25; 14-25; 17-25). Then followed that up with a win on Saturday at Akron 3-1 (25-15; 18-25; 25-23; 25-23). Next up is two games this coming weekend, as they host Miami (OH) and Bowling Green.

It was another mixed weekend for the Bobcats, as they went 1-1 at home. On Friday, they defeated Miami (OH) 3-2 (21-25; 25-22; 25-16; 17-25; 15-13). Then on Saturday, they fell to Bowling Green 3-1 (25-17; 21-25; 22-25; 22-25). Next up, the Bobcats play at Kent State on Thursday, then at Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

A disappointing match took place last night for the Bobcats (8-11) as they fell at Kent State (3-13) 3-2 (18-25; 12-25; 25-17; 29-27; 12-15). They fell behind early 2-0, then came storming back to win the next two, before finally falling in the third set to a bad Kent State squad. Next up for the Bobcats is a match at Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

Saturday saw a turn around for the Bobcats (9-11), as they traveled to Eastern Michigan (10-12) and won in a nailbiter 3-2 (25-23; 24-26; 25-19; 27-29; 15-13). That win brings OU even in conference play. Next up will be a pair of home matches, when they host Toledo on Friday and Ball State on Saturday.

The Bobcats opened up their weekend two game set, losing their opener to Toledo in a tough 5 game set 3-2 (25-17; 21-25; 22-25; 25-22; 17-19). Tomorrow OU hosts Ball State tomorrow at 7pm.

OU got back to winning ways today, defeating Ball State 3-0 (25-22; 25-16; 25-18) in Athens. This win brings the Bobcats back to even within MAC competition. Next up, the Bobcats are back in action next weekend, they travel to Northern Illinois on Friday and travel to Western Michigan on Saturday.

The Bobcats picked up a big road win in MAC play last night at Northern Illinois 3-1 (25-18; 25-23; 23-25; 25-20). This was the first time they've won consecutive matches since September. They will travel to Western Michigan on Saturday.

Yesterday, the Bobcats traveled to Western Michigan, and unfortunately, fell to a very good Broncos team 3-1 (25-14; 16-25; 17-25; 19-25). Next weekend, OU will host two matches, Akron on Friday and Buffalo on Saturday.
