A close game at Syracuse vs UVA. The Orange had a 2 pt lead at half and lead by 6 two minutes into the 2nd half until....it started raining in the Carrier Dome. The Hoos went on a 29-7 run, including 8 from 3 land.

79-53 UVA....made 18 of 24 3s until both benches were emptied

Kyle Guy led the way with 25 pts....8/10 from 3 land

BTW....I think they made 7 straight 3s....could be wrong on that

In Tallahassee....FSU scored the first 5 pts in the game then, fell flat as Va Tech outscored them 33-14 to take a 14 pt halftime lead.

The Noles returned the favor in the 2nd half as the Hokies had to hit a 3 ball to send it to Ooooovertime...61 all

OT was all Noles as they kept up the frantic D...winning in the end 73-64.

This was the 9th game without the Hokies all-time assist man Justin Robinson....a foot injury. The win gives FSU a double-bye heading into the ACC tournament.

Marques Boldin went down holding his left knee after attempting a block from behind. On replay, it appears his knee hit the padding on basket stanchion (sp) hard. He was assisted to the locker room. Happened 2 .30 into game.

An 11-0 run by the Cougars early in the second half gave them a 42-37 and they never looked back.
