The game was as if Coach Day was conducting a practice/scrimmage where he was having the squad work on down and distance situations on offense. The defense was smothering giving up only 42 yards rushing out of only 257 total. Once again OSU showed discipline with only 45 yards in penalties and committed only one turnover in garbage time.
I think Buckeye fans should feel encouraged by the team's potential based on performance. Conversely we should guard against irrational exuberance because honestly their schedule to date has not been great.
