Final game until the national championship game. Who you got?
Re: LendingTree Bowl: Louisiana vs. Miami (OH)
Know nothing about Louisiana Lafayette, Hoping for a Miami of Ohio victory. I forgot to check, is this game being played in Florida or in Alabama ?

Alabama. Louisiana Lafayette was formerly called Southwestern Loisiana. I remember when Marshall basketball was ranked in Top 10 during NCAA tourney and lost to SWL 112-101 in 1972 first round game. Dwight "Bo" Lamar averaged 36 ppg for the Ragin Cajuns that year and he played at Columbus East High School on their 2 championship teams in 68 & 69. Anyway back to this football game. LL beat Ohio U by 20 in Athens this year. They should win this one .

They didn't show the view from the top, ball was moving down his chest after the hit before he was on his back. F-U-M-B-L-E.

I remember Dwight "Bo" Lamar, he wasn't very big, but he could sure light it up on offense. Columbus East was tough back in the City League in those days.

Also was there a center that went to Illinois by the name of Nick Conner ? I'm sure they played before Lamar did, but when you mentioned him those names came to me.VetteMan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 10:32 pmFANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 10:05 pm
