A good battle out of the Missouri Valley Conference. Indiana State (20-3, 11-1 Conf) blew a 17-point lead but rebounded to post the eight-point win. Drake (18-5, 9-3 Conf) The teams split the two games and both should/could make it to the conference tourney final if things do not go awry. Ryan Conwell (Indianapolis, IN) had 21 points, 7 boards, and 3 assists for the winners. His top help came from, center Robbie Avila (Oak Forest, IL) with 20 points, 11 boards, and 4 assists. For Drake, Tucker DeVries (Waukee, IA) led all scorers with 26 points and 10 boards.
