West 7th grade girls and Oakhill 7th grade girls basketball

They may play against each other in a tourney in Feb.? Just wondering, heard both teams are good, but knowing the West team, they would prevail in this one, if it were to happen.

West pretty much handled Minford fairly easily in the fisrt half (18-2) or so until a few coaching errors where made but I do not think this will happen in the tourney.

lol, that is a long way off. Oak Hill has been beaten by Valley twice in overtime and River Valley twice.

To tell you the truth when the topic was started I thought the person was talking about 8th grade.

I hope to see the 7th Oaks make it to the championship as well though

watched the 7th grade Lady Oaks today and was not that all impressed. Might have a hard time making it through the torney in south webster.

Thats fine. COmbine them with our 8th, 9th and 10th graders. Not to mention the 6th graders coming up and we will be just fine.

Oak Hill does have a great tradition of being dominate in girl's basketball. If would be great to see that kind of program develop at West. With the teams coming up, 6th, 7th and 8th combined should be good girls basketball for West! Good luck to all the teams, best of luck to West!

I agree. That would be awesome for West. They have struggled recently but their girls and coach have stuck it out.
