there are some decent local teams from the soc. green, valley, west and the two burg teams are playing well. ross county teams struggling this year. soc teams will fare pretty well. jr high baseball great proving ground for the kids to move on to high school.

Are there any undefeated teams this far into the season..I heard Burg's 7th grade team still is undefeated...If so thats pretty good if they have been facing teams of both 7th and 8th graders on them..I've heard Zane Trace, Oak Hill and Athens all have pretty good ball clubs as well

Waverly (one team of 7th & 8th Graders) finished the regular season 7-3 with the only lossed coming to Valley (2) and Athens.

Athens was probably the most solid, well-coached team we faced all season...
