Looks like Jackson travels to Chillicothe tonight for a big time FAC game? Who are the players to watch for in this one?

Chillicothe 41
Jackson 36

Chillicothe jumped out 9-1 and numerous times Jackson got it it back to 1 or 2 or tied and just could not get over the hump. A crazy game with crazy happenings but in the end Chillicothe made their free throws and Jackson uncharacteristally did not. 17 seconds left Blankenship shot a 3 and looked to be the go ahead bucket....all the way in and then back out. Tough loss but hats off to Chillicothe.

Chillicothe a tough matchup for Jackson...always have been. Long and quick. PG is lightning and they are athletic.

I sure wish we would’ve won...but it didn’t seem meant to be. I believe things will go well from here on out. We have a tough matchup with Hillsboro, a non league game and then the FAC tournament. Can’t wait!

Props to Chillicothe tonight

Jackson played Hillsboro tonight and trailed 11-4 after a few minutes of play. Coach Wallis called a timeout and ripped them like I’ve never seen before...they needed it and from there went on a 28-2 run the rest of the first half. It was everyone, 5 different starters scored 4+ points in first half and most buckets on assists.

Final score was 56-32 and everyone scored and 6 players had 6+ points.

Best team game of the year. Tip of the cap to Coach Wallis.

Do you have the full bracket with W/L records, Ironman?

Is this a home game or is the MS FAC tourney at a neutral/central site?

8th grade was seeded but 7th grade teams just took the seed of the 8th grade team. Saved a little on bussing.

Jackson will play McClain Thursday at 4:15

Chillicothe prevailed at home in the championship. Jackson battled back and gained the lead with 1:30 and had ball but some poor possessions and their kid drilled a 3 on other end. Chillicothe really did very little wrong. Impressive discipline. Too many missed free throws by Jackson. Congrats to Chillicothe

Men’s ball next year and these boys will be seaparated some. A lot of talent there but also a ton of factors. I hope all 10 kids play next year.

Track season now.
