Burg 50-0
Re: Jr High week 3
Jackson 7th 36- Logan 7th 14
Jackson 8th was beating Logan 8th 28-0 when I Left in the 4th. The 8th game would have been a good game if not for number 15. Man that is a big 8th grader! It was a man against boys. He would impose his will when he took off running. Wheelersburg must have a heck of a team to stop him.

He turned 14 the last week of June... thats not well over 14.... thats 14 and 10 weeks...try getting the facts before you post...SMH he will graduate at 18
Re: Jr High week 3
Read the other posts pal. Your Wheelersburg brother basically claimed the only reason the Jackson quarterback was good is because he was 14 and fully mature. Which may or may not be true.
This kid is 14 and has been fully mature for a couple years, hence his advantage against immature kids on the basketball court and football field.

I was there and everybody played and running clock! Ran up middle 95 % of the time. I seen burg put 6 different runningbacks in.

That’s not what I said. I never said the only reason. I said he’s going to be better because he’s probably hit puberty and those types of kids tend to be stronger and faster than kids that haven’t, which is a true statement. The corner on Jackson’s 8th looked like he was in 6th grade. One play he got beat by one of those burg kids who’s that way. Do you think the corner is going to look like that in high school? No. I’m going to assume he will go through his growth spurt and catch up. Being great in junior high doesn’t mean squat. I don’t care what team they play for. My 8th grade year we got beat by northwest. They had a man running the ball. No one could tackle him. We never lost to them in high school and probably averaged beating them by 42 points.TCat wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 4:40 pm Read the other posts pal. Keeping the natives happy is part too. From what I was told one of the move ins parents showed their butt this week to the coaches. Same one that was screaming like an idiot at the basketball championship this winter. Keeping all these players happy will be a big problem going forward.

No way can Wheelersburg keep all these kids (and parents) happy. Say what you want about the coaches, the program, whatever. When you start bringing in all these players who were big contributors where they were from, your gonna have problems. And that's not including all the kids (parents) who went from playing to never seeing the field or court

Re: Jr High week 3
I know the score looks like they ran up the score, but they didn't.
The only real problem was Burg was up I believe like 43 with about 3-4 minutes and Waverly decided to punt and Burg rushed the punter and blocked it. That was wrong, and lost my respect for that.
Attitude, Effort and Hustle
You control that.
You control that.
Re: Jr High week 3
They weren't coming for the punt. Good grief! It was a normal punt rush. The kid beat his man and realized he made a mistake when he stuck his hand out. You can tell because he was slowing up.TIGER#27 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:18 amI know the score looks like they ran up the score, but they didn't.
